Litha 001 Grey, pink and mint contemporary art

I love any excuse to celebrate, and my Almanac collection of contemporary art prints reflects that. I have selected key dates in the wheel of the year as my starting point for these unique grey, pink and mint contemporary art prints. Built up over multiple layers, I use various screenprinting techniques until I am happy with the composition. You can see the whole collection here.

Growing up my family would always throw a Midsummer party for our neighbours. I was put in charge of decorations, making paper lanterns and carving patterns into watermelons. They were beautiful evenings, celebrating coming together, sharing food, drinks and music. Somehow I have memories of glorious sunny days, although I grew up in the North East of England! That’s Midsummer magic.
